Know someone with diabetes? Then show them this post …
I have a good friend in Australia, whose son was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Originally it was corrupted. He has an example of resistance and suitability for all his life. He raised his family for an ethic of respect for fitness and health and has two lanes boys and a healthy strong woman. So the news that diabetes is one of the boys had a – in their lives, never, never take life, stamina and health for granted.
As a teacher I meet many school students with diabetes. While some of them are like my friend’s son in Australia, examples of fitness and vitality, the majority are not. Many have obesity problems, low energy and is extremely Saturday night drug to manage their disease. This strikes.
Given the enormous volume of information and education about diabetes on how to manage or prevent this, I am surprised by how people dumb flirts with strength and vitality. Many become overweight and underpowered, then it is susceptible to unnecessary illnesses such as diabetes.
Other, often forgotten piece in this ODD nightmare is the high cost of not only the victims and their families, but also for the nation as a whole. It is estimated that current national medical bill to retain, to face and to regulate diabetes each year is around between 92 BN 112 billion dollars.
In the light of the recent disasters in the world as the devastation in Haiti by an earthquake, or ongoing poverty in Africa and China Medical Bill warming looks more and more rampant. Given what a huge problem in the next generation of addresses health alone, I reflect on how each one of us, alone, has the responsibility to change things at very small or personal, in order to affect change in the level of macro or system.
You yourself have to make a difference. We can no longer afford to wait for someone else to change the way things are. Each of us must become a revolutionary in our lives, changing habits, poor and expensive. Taking your health into your own hands, manage as best you can, to seek and receive support from others, and we can start to turn things around.
There is no time. Start now.
Stay strong,
